Caledonian Mechanical was established in 2016 by Christopher Campbell, bringing decades of deep HVAC/R experience to the Central Valley — from industrial and commercial environments to light commercial and residential systems.

Why the Name “Caledonian”
“Caledonia” is an ancient Roman name used for the lands north of Roman Britain — broadly associated with what we now know as Scotland. Roman writings described the northern peoples and tribes beyond their controlled territories, including groups that later histories associate with the Picts and other Celtic cultures.
For founder Christopher Campbell, the name Caledonian is a nod to his Scottish origins — a reminder of the heritage, grit, and standards that shaped him — and a promise that Caledonian Mechanical will bring that same strength and integrity into every job we do here in California.
